Ronald Eugene Baine
November 20, 1961 - March 17, 2008

Mr. Ronald Eugene Baine was born on Monday, November 20, 1961, son of Jimmy Baine and Billie Prichard Parris. Mr. Baine died Monday, March 17, 2008, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 46 years 3 months and 25 days. He was born in Holland, Mich., and had lived in Trumann most of his lifetime and was formerly of Huntsville, Ala. He was a technician and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Baine was preceded in death by two brothers, James E. Baine Jr., and Rickey Baine and his father, Jimmy Baine. Survivors include one son, Patrick Baine of Huntsville, Ala., his mother, Billie Prichard Parris of Trumann; and one sister, Karen Hinson of Walcott, Ark. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy McMacters and Rev. Harold McMacters officiating. Burial will be in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR. Active pallbearers will be Hunter Adams, Mark Baine, M.J. Baine, Matthew Baine, Jay Pratt, Derek McMasters and Kyle McMasters. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Thompson Funeral Home. Online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.

    I went to school with Ronald in Trumann and sat right in front of him most all my school days. I can still see him and his big smile.....hard to believe he's gone so young.     I am truely sorry for your loss. I worked with Ron in the Valve Lab at Marshall Space Flight Center. Ron was a very sweet and kind person. He was always ready to lend a hand to help. He could always make me smile and laugh. He was such a sweetheart and he will be missed but not forgotten.

    Some things in life just dont seem fair and loosing Ronald so soon was a perfect example of one of those things! He was a good man and a great friend. I will miss him dearly. But knowing that he is with Rick once again brings me some comfort though. And to Billie I am so sorry for your loss you have been through so much I truely admire your strength.     Billie, Karen and Family,I am so sorry to hear about Ronald. I had not seen him in years until this summer when he moved back to Trumann. He was still the same sweet good hearted person that he was when he left here. I didn't realize that him and Rick looked so much alike.
