Clarence E. Nelson
March 18, 1914 - April 9, 2008

Mr. Clarence E. Nelson, 94, of Trumann died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the family residence. He was born in Raub, North Dakota and had lived in Trumann for the past 2 years and was formerly of Mesa, Ariz., and Minot, North Dakota. He was a salesman for International Harvester Equipment, member of the Elks and Mesa Lawn Bowling Club. Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by his first wife Clara Miller and three sisters, Helen Snyder, Elsie Wendlick, and Edith Nelson. Two brothers, Bob Nelson and Ralph Nelson and his parents, Ernest and Minnie Kindso Nelson Survivors include his companion, Bernice Yuly of Trumann; one daughter, Mary Nelson Herther of Buffalo Grove, IL.; two granddaughters, Kristen Herther of Orland Park, IL and Tracy (Bill) Walters of Palmetto, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Kaylyn & Will Walters. one sister, Marjorie Folden of Edmonds, WA., and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Home in Minot, ND, with chaplain Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Minot, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday morning until time of service. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.

    Ms. Bunnie,Sherman and I were so sadden to hear the news of Clarence's death.We are sorry that we missed the services but did not know until a few days after.
