Misty Beth StokesTRUMANN - Miss Misty Beth Stokes, 31 of Trumann, died Tuesday morning at the family residence. Miss Stokes was born in Osceola, Ark., and had lived in Etowah before moving to Trumann twenty-five years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Merl Stokes.Survivors include three sons, Murphy Taber, Mavrick Thompson and Memphis Thompson, all of the home; her mother and Step-father, Marsha and Timmy Mitchell of Trumann and her grandmother, Mrs. Merlene Stokes of Etowah, Ark. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon April 17, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Huey Meherg officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah, Ark. Pallbearers will be Marvin Stokes, Michael Stokes, Mark Weathers, Keith Stokes, John Stokes and Keith Weathers Visitation will be Wednesday April 16. 2008 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.     Misty Beth was a very special person to me. I have so many fond memories of her in elementary school and church. I remember the pretty little red Shirley Temple Curls and sweet smile she always had.     Marsha and family: I'm with everyone when I say that it was such a shock to hear about Misty. Although our lives have led us down different roads, I still considered her a friend.
