Patsy Jane Chaffin
April 11, 1937 - August 27, 2008

Mrs. Patsy Jane Chaffin, 71, was born on Sunday, April 11, 1937, daughter of the late William Cloise and Ruby Daniels Huston. Mrs. Chaffin died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the family residence in Trumann, Ark., at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 16 days. She was a lifetime resident of Trumann, a retired employee of the former Salant & Salant in Trumann and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Chaffin was preceded in death by four sisters and her parents. Survivors include her husband, Bobby W. Chaffin, Sr., of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Terri Jo and Ricky Strange and Jackie Harrison all of Trumann; one son, Bobby W. Chaffin Jr., of Trumann; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Thursday morning August 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark., with Rev. Brett Witcher officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. There will be no visitation. Online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.

    Terri, I was so sorry to learn that your mom had passed away. I remember all of the fun times we had when you all lived with Momma Ruby across the street from me on Smith Street and the time your mom and Mamma Ruby looked at me when I said I had no idea what "Witch Hazel" was (lol).
