Juanita Robertson Harlan
August 17, 1921 - April 28, 2009

Mrs. Juanita Robertson Harlan was born on Wednesday, August 17, 1921, daughter of the late David Clyde and Tiny Alice Ames Robertson. Mrs. Harlan died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the Trumann Health and Rehabilitation Center, at the age of 87 years 8 months and 11 days. She was born in Bay, Ark., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a housewife, and was always involved in many community activities and a member of the First General Baptist Church near Trumann. She was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and her parents. Survivors include her husband, Delvin B. Harlan of the home; one daughter, Charlotte Ann Harlan of Jonesboro; one son, Gary Don Harlan of Jonesboro; two brothers, Clyde Robertson Jr., and Herman Robertson both of Trumann; four grandchildren, Holly Harlan, Justin Harlan, Melanie Goodwin and Dana Bingham and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the First General Baptist Church near Trumann, with Rev. Darrel Miller and Rev. Joey Ruppard officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark., under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Pallbearers will be Rusty Jones, Kevin Watkins, Dale Hannon, Bart Benson, James Lowery and Hayden Sadler. Honorary pallbearers will be C.A. Jones, Eugene Richardson, A.C. Stacy, Edward Hargrove, Junior Carter, Bill Evans and Bud Bingham Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.
