"To all of Mr Charles and Mrs Martis family, sending prayers for peace and comfort during this time. I've always had insurance with them and well as my Mom. So sorry to hear of his passing. I used to go into the office to take care of an insurance issue and the 3 of us would always have a long visit.

"A nicer man you could not meet. Charles was an insurance agent with Shelter Insurance for many years. I worked for Shelter Insurance Claims for about 20 years and retired many years ago. He was a dear man who would go the extra mile to help anyone. To all the family, especially Martis, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

"We think the world of your family. You will always be in our hearts. I remember y’all coming over to our house when I was little, so Sheila and I could play. As the First Baptist Church and Trumann, it would not be same had it not been for your family. Thinking of you. Sincerely, Donald and Beth Meeks Presley

"To all the family, I would like on the behalf of the J.F. "Bill" & Ethel Cook family and their decedents to show our respects to such an awesome man as Mr. Charles, he was one of the finest men, and my dad thought the world of him. I was just a child when I left Trumann, but I remember the trust that my dad had in him, as Mr. Charles was the one my dad had insurance with. I just want the family to know that I'll be praying for you all during this very difficult time, that God will give each of you a memory of a time in your life with him that will bring comfort to your heart.
